Colorful songbirds and parakeets perch among cascading branches heavy with roses, peonies, and delicate flowering vines rendered in soft watercolor tones against a serene duck egg blue ground. The composition is richly layered and rhythmic, with birds and blooms distributed throughout the design in the classical Chinoiserie tradition, creating a sense of peaceful, flourishing nature. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

About The Artist

Hi, I'm Cecilia, a Sydney-based surface designer and artist with a background in fine arts. My work is inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration, ancient Chinese and Japanese textiles and historical European Chinoiserie, Mid-Century Modern, and contemporary Australian symbolic painters. I am drawn to themes of wonder, storytelling and the beauty of the natural world. I love to explore rich colour palettes, a sense of movement and flow, and decorative illustration.
