Layered pink and mauve washes flow across the composition with the look of a landscape seen through silk, with veins of printed gold leaf tracing natural boundaries between soft gradations of tone. The effect is contemplative and serene, merging abstract watercolor with gilded accents to suggest mountains, horizons, or simply the movement of color itself.
