Description

A classic checkerboard pattern alternates between soft cream and muted olive green squares in perfect geometric rhythm across the composition. The printed rendering of textile texture creates a woven quality that feels both timeless and contemporary, evoking the structure of a game board or traditional floor design. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.

About The Artist

Daniel Coulmann is a graphic designer and artist from Hamburg. While creating his work mostly digitally, he finds his inspiration in the analog world and its techniques. Clean digital shapes combined with photographed and crafted textures as well as vintage and retro elements give his art a hand-made character with a note of imperfection.
