Description

A stylized face rendered in bold blue and red outlines fills a bright yellow ground, its two profiles merging into a single contemplative form with a prominent eye and geometric mouth. The composition balances symmetry and asymmetry through flowing, organic curves that echo 1970s psychedelic illustration, creating a sense of duality and introspection. Printed on smooth white card stock and made to order, artwork on the front, blank inside, envelopes included in every set. A handwritten note that arrives as an independent artist's work.

About The Artist

instagram: chromoeye (tag me!!) Hi, my name is Lauren! A little about me: I'm from the sweet, sweet state of Louisiana, I recreated Starry Night at age 5 in crayon and my parents haven't let me forget it since, and I'm obsessed with everything 60s, eclectic, and nostalgic. However, despite this obsession with the styles of a bygone era, I like to hold tight to the simple, boldly expressive, and vibrant aspects of the present. I adore art that successfully blends the world of the past with the new possibilities of the present. In short, my work is inspired by life in its simplest form: Bright and dark colors for the good times and bad, an underlying simplicity, and an affection for the past with an eye on the future. I try to invest these little aspects of life that I love dearly into the hearts of my pieces. My one hope is that you see and enjoy these aspects as much as I do, too.
