Description
A single rectangle of deep rust terracotta occupies the center of a white ground, its warm earthen tone asserting itself through pure chromatic presence. The composition is spare and meditative, allowing the color itself to become the subject, evoking clay, soil, and natural pigment in its most distilled form. At home in a minimalist space or above a shelf displaying ceramics and natural objects. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
