Orange and cream flowers bloom densely across a rich forest green ground, their petals and leaves interlocking in a rhythmic, all-over pattern that fills every corner of the composition. The work demonstrates the hallmark Arts and Crafts attention to naturalistic detail and decorative balance, with butterflies and delicate foliage in a harmonious, repeating printed textile-inspired artwork. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
