A dense congregation of mythical creatures and cryptids fills the composition in intricate pen-and-ink linework, rendered in deep navy blue against an off-white ground. The overlapping forms create a hypnotic pattern of antlers, fangs, scales, and watchful eyes, each creature detailed with obsessive cross-hatching and decorative marks that suggest both natural history and folklore. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
