Description
A Deaths-Head Moth spreads its wings symmetrically across the composition, rendered in warm browns and cream with intricate anatomical detail against a deep olive ground. Golden leaf motifs frame the insect in a decorative pattern, creating a natural history illustration infused with ornamental elegance and earthy, richly layered tones. For a naturalist's study, a gothic bedroom, or a collector's wall of curiosities. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
