Description
A classical marble bust of the male head is bisected by a horizontal band of white, fragmenting the idealized features into separated planes of light and shadow. Shot against deep black, the monochromatic photograph emphasizes the sculpture's volumetric form while the stark division creates a conceptual tension between wholeness and fragmentation. At home in a gallery wall, modern study, or creative workspace seeking intellectual edge. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
