Description
A grid of fifty tally marks rendered in white lines sits against a warm ochre ground, organized in five rows of ten evenly spaced groups. The minimalist composition reads as both a counting system and an abstract pattern, evoking the meditative quality of notation and the structured rhythm of desert-toned color fields. At home in a workspace, study, or gallery focused on conceptual art. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
