Deep crimson and burgundy roses bloom densely across a nearly black ground, interspersed with pale yellow and cream flowers that punctuate the composition like lanterns in shadow. The layered, botanical arrangement recalls classical Dutch still life painting, with lush green foliage threading through the blooms to create a sense of abundance and romantic melancholy. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily.
