Description
A cross-section of layered earth and sky reveals three distinct geological strata in warm browns, ochres, and tans, with a sun rising above the upper landscape and a moon glowing beneath the lower one. The composition uses bold outlines and hand-drawn linework to map the hidden depths of soil and stone, creating a meditative view of what lies both above and below the surface. At home in a geology classroom, nature lover's study, or contemplative living space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
