Egyptian hieroglyphs and symbolic figures densely fill a square composition against a warm, weathered tan ground that resembles aged papyrus or wood. The black line-work renders pharaohs, sacred animals, geometric patterns, and columns of cartouches in a scholarly, archaeological style that evokes both ancient temple walls and museum documentation. At home in a study, library, or space celebrating world history and ancient cultures. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
