White birds in flight alternate with golden flowers and botanical forms across a deep navy ground, arranged in a symmetrical repeating pattern reminiscent of Scandinavian folk art. The composition balances organic shapes with geometric precision, using warm ochre and coral accents to punctuate the cool, meditative palette. About The Artist

Hi, I'm Cecilia, a Sydney-based surface designer and artist with a background in fine arts. My work is inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration, ancient Chinese and Japanese textiles and historical European Chinoiserie, Mid-Century Modern, and contemporary Australian symbolic painters. I am drawn to themes of wonder, storytelling and the beauty of the natural world. I love to explore rich colour palettes, a sense of movement and flow, and decorative illustration.
