Description

A single oversized tulip rendered in deep navy blue dominates this composition, its cup-shaped flower head filled with delicate parallel lines that suggest both structure and movement. Two elongated leaves flank the stem below, creating a symmetrical, botanical study against a soft cream ground that emphasizes the graphic simplicity of the form. Alisa is a self-taught Ukrainian artist living in Spain. She finds inspiration in nature (especially plants), textiles, and interior spaces. Passionate about experimenting, she enjoys exploring mixed media techniques, combining different materials to create unique textures. Her creative process is often highly intuitive, adding a sense of spontaneity and freshness to her work. In recent years, Alisa has developed a strong passion for collages and linocuts.
