A traditional gingham pattern in olive and cream alternates in a tight grid, creating a woven textile effect through careful color blocking. The composition is symmetrical and meditative, evoking the timeless simplicity of classic woven fabrics with its orderly rhythm and neutral warmth. Alisa is a self-taught Ukrainian artist living in Spain. She finds inspiration in nature (especially plants), textiles, and interior spaces. Passionate about experimenting, she enjoys exploring mixed media techniques, combining different materials to create unique textures. Her creative process is often highly intuitive, adding a sense of spontaneity and freshness to her work. In recent years, Alisa has developed a strong passion for collages and linocuts.
