Pale green cacti with printed fuzzy spines cluster densely in warm, golden light that bathes the composition in a serene glow. The shallow depth of field creates an intimate focus on the foreground pads while those behind blur into soft suggestion, giving the image a dreamy, almost impressionistic quality despite its photographic approach. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
