  • Durable, solid and lightweight bamboo wood
  • Bamboo Side: matte natural wood grain for cutting, finished with food grade cutting board oil
  • Artwork Side: smooth satin finish for display only
  • To clean use mild soap and water, dry immediately.
  • Do not leave submersed in water. Not dishwasher safe
  • 1" hole for handling and hanging
  • Every order is made just for you

About The Artist

Evelyn McCorristin Peters, an artist deeply connected to her environment, uses her creative prowess to highlight the beauty and importance of our diverse ecosystems. Through her artwork, she strives to capture the essence of the natural world, fostering a deeper appreciation for our environment. Evelyn's remarkable life experiences have played a pivotal role in shaping her artistry. In 1984, she embarked on a unique journey, traveling to 48 of the 50 states as a scenic artist with Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus. This exposure to diverse landscapes and cultures across the United States, Europe, Mexico, Canada, and even a year-long residency in Japan, provided a rich tapestry of inspiration for her work. As an artist, Evelyn's work finds a home in Define Art Gallery in Sarasota, Florida, and her pieces grace private collections across the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, and the Netherlands. Her artistic endeavors have been recognized with residencies and fellowships from various institutions, including the National Parks "Arts in the Parks" program, Jentel Foundation, Dorland Mountain Arts Colony, and The Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts.
