Description

A horned, goat-legged creature in a classical engraving style carries an oversized basket with the look of woven material on its back while wielding a birch switch, rendered in precise black ink linework against a cream ground. The composition captures a theatrical, slightly menacing energy typical of European folklore illustrations, with "Gruss vom Krampus" inscribed in rust red text. For a Halloween display or folklore enthusiast's study. Printed to order on bright, matte cotton-poly canvas and hand-stretched over a 1.5-inch wood stretcher, with the image wrapping the edges for a gallery-wrapped finish. Gallery-quality inks keep the color deep and saturated. It arrives ready to hang straight from the box, no framing needed.

About The Artist

Andrew Henry is a designer based in Seattle. He spent a lot of time in nature growing up in the Pacific NW, and when he wasn't exploring local forests and beaches he was watching bad sci-fi and horror films for laughs. Those influences are still evident in his work today in his off-kilter sense of humor and cartoonish naturalism. www.andrewhenrystudio.com
