A black and white dog with alert, forward-facing eyes wears an ornate ceremonial robe rendered in deep olive and gold geometric patterns, positioned against a warm mustard background scattered with blue and metallic circles. The composition channels the decorative excess and gilded ornamentation of early 20th-century symbolism, treating the animal subject with the reverence typically reserved for portraiture.
