Description

A stylized dog with a white face and alert gaze sits centered against a richly patterned ground of gold and deep blue, its body adorned with concentric circles, geometric shapes, and ornamental motifs in the decorative language of early twentieth-century Modernism. The composition draws from Symbolist and Art Nouveau sensibilities, layering Byzantine-inspired patterns across every surface to transform a simple portrait into a jewel-toned meditation on form and ornament. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
