A cross-section of an ancient oak tree fills the composition with concentric rings rendered in precise black line work against a warm beige ground. The rings radiate outward from a dark center point, their organic variations and natural irregularities creating a meditative record of growth, while the jagged outer edge grounds the form with authentic texture. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily.
