Description

A soft gradient background transitions from cool blue at the top through chartreuse yellow to warm peachy cream at the bottom, creating a soothing ombré effect. The words "howdy there, partner!" are scattered casually across the composition in loose, friendly white lettering that feels personal and handwritten. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A little about me: I'm from the sweet, sweet state of Louisiana, I recreated Starry Night at age 5 in crayon and my parents haven't let me forget it since, and I'm obsessed with everything 60s, eclectic, and nostalgic. However, despite this obsession with the styles of a bygone era, I like to hold tight to the simple, boldly expressive, and vibrant aspects of the present. I adore art that successfully blends the world of the past with the new possibilities of the present. In short, my work is inspired by life in its simplest form: Bright and dark colors for the good times and bad, an underlying simplicity, and an affection for the past with an eye on the future.
