Description

A richly patterned prayer rug in deep red and rust tones features a central mihrab niche framed by geometric and floral motifs in cream, gold, and deep blue, with an ornate border of intricate symbols and script surrounding the composition. The layered textile artwork exhibits the warmth and complexity of traditional Anatolian weaving, its aged palette suggesting centuries of cultural heritage woven into every detail. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
