Description
A traditional Kurdish rug from Malatya in East Anatolia displays a symmetrical composition of stacked medallions rendered in deep reds, blues, and cream tones, each geometric form intricately patterned with stars, crosses, and angular motifs. The dense weaving creates a sense of rhythmic harmony, with warm crimson grounds contrasting against cool sapphire accents and ornamental borders framing the entire field. At home in a bohemian living room or eclectic gallery wall. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
