Description
A vintage pictorial map of Long Island renders the coastline and waterways in rich blues and creams, dotted with illustrated ships, buildings, and decorative compass roses across a warm tan background. The composition balances cartographic precision with whimsical detail, combining hand-drawn elements and aged paper textures that evoke early 20th-century travel ephemera and nostalgia for maritime exploration. At home in a study, library, or anywhere geography and history inspire conversation. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
