A stylized moth dominates the composition, its wings rendered in turquoise, mustard yellow, and black with intricate symmetrical patterns that evoke celestial and botanical forms. Crescent moons, concentric circles, and ornamental eye motifs fill the wings against a cream background, framed by a decorative border of geometric patterns and repeated eye symbols that suggest mystical and folkloric traditions. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
