Description
A blocky green cactus with curling tentacles anchors this composition, crowned by three red desert flowers rendered in bold, graphic strokes. The warm cream ground and stark black linework create a striking Art Deco sensibility, framed by Spanish text identifying this as a cover for El Maestro, a 1922 Mexican cultural journal. At home in a modernist study or a gallery-inspired living space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
