Description

A single red boat floats on calm turquoise waters beneath a soft, cloud-filled sky rendered in pale blue and cream tones. The composition is tranquil and meditative, with the tiny vessel centered in a vast, quiet seascape that emphasizes solitude and contemplation against the expansive natural world. For a peaceful bedroom, meditation space, or anywhere calm reflection is needed. Woven from soft polyester chenille with a non-slip backing and made to order, the artwork running across the surface. About The Artist

Richard Vergez is a Cuban-American visual and sound artist. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, worked and lived in New York as member of the Brooklyn Collage Collective, and currently works and resides in South Florida. His background in graphic design and audio/visual collaboration is reflected through his hand-made collaged works on paper and mixed media. Imagery which combines both human and technological elements relates to ideas surrounding an ever-evolving modern dystopian identity.
