Description
A dense, interlocking composition of hand-drawn mushrooms in warm oranges, creams, and rust tones fills a olive-green background, each specimen labeled with its common name in flowing, ornamental lettering that winds through the composition. The line work is detailed and naturalistic, rendered in an illustrative style that feels both scientific and whimsical, evoking a vintage naturalist's guide. At home in a naturalist's study, kitchen, or any space celebrating the Pacific Northwest. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
