Description

Pink carnations and blooming flowers arrange into a symmetrical diamond shape against a deep forest green ground, their delicate petals rendered in soft watercolor tones. Hidden within the composition, subtle faces emerge from the foliage and blossoms, inviting viewers to discover the whimsical secret illustrated through this botanical arrangement. Soft micro-twill, cut and sewn by hand into a rectangular cushion with a hidden zip, insert included and made to order. The lumbar piece that finishes a sofa or bed, carrying an independent artist's work instead of store-shelf filler.

  • Wash the cover separately in cold water with gentle detergent
  • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry or lay flat to dry

Hi, I'm Cecilia, a Sydney-based surface designer and artist with a background in fine arts. My work is inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration, ancient Chinese and Japanese textiles and historical European Chinoiserie, Mid-Century Modern, and contemporary Australian symbolic painters.
