Description

Green hands and arms emerge from a soft pink ground, each one cradling or displaying a jewel-toned bird rendered in brilliant blues, oranges, reds, and yellows. The composition scatters these pairs across the canvas with playful asymmetry, creating a sense of movement and discovery against the gentle pink backdrop. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

A little about me: I'm from the sweet, sweet state of Louisiana, I recreated Starry Night at age 5 in crayon and my parents haven't let me forget it since, and I'm obsessed with everything 60s, eclectic, and nostalgic. However, despite this obsession with the styles of a bygone era, I like to hold tight to the simple, boldly expressive, and vibrant aspects of the present. I adore art that successfully blends the world of the past with the new possibilities of the present. In short, my work is inspired by life in its simplest form: Bright and dark colors for the good times and bad, an underlying simplicity, and an affection for the past with an eye on the future.
