Description

A oversized disco ball wearing a golden cowboy hat floats above a desert landscape dotted with saguaro cacti under a brilliant turquoise sky. The glittering mirror sphere reflects light in shimmering detail while the hat's black feather crown adds a playful swagger to this surreal collision of Western kitsch and dance floor excess. Printed on smooth white card stock and made to order, artwork on the front, blank inside, envelopes included in every set. A handwritten note that arrives as an independent artist's work.

About The Artist

instagram: chromoeye (tag me!!) Hi, my name is Lauren! A little about me: I'm from the sweet, sweet state of Louisiana, I recreated Starry Night at age 5 in crayon and my parents haven't let me forget it since, and I'm obsessed with everything 60s, eclectic, and nostalgic. However, despite this obsession with the styles of a bygone era, I like to hold tight to the simple, boldly expressive, and vibrant aspects of the present. I adore art that successfully blends the world of the past with the new possibilities of the present. In short, my work is inspired by life in its simplest form: Bright and dark colors for the good times and bad, an underlying simplicity, and an affection for the past with an eye on the future. I try to invest these little aspects of life that I love dearly into the hearts of my pieces. My one hope is that you see and enjoy these aspects as much as I do, too.
