Interlocking rectangular sections fill this composition with varied line patterns, from tight grids to parallel hatching to diagonal cross-hatch marks, creating a tessellated landscape of pure black lines on cream. The rhythmic interplay of directions and densities produces a hypnotic, almost architectural quality that reads as both ordered and organic. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
