Description
A plump eagle-owl perches upright on a lichen-covered branch, its distinctive ear tufts raised and piercing yellow eyes gazing forward with quiet intensity. Rendered in soft watercolor with meticulous detail, the bird's mottled brown and cream plumage contrasts against the pale cream ground, while delicate botanical linework frames the composition with naturalistic restraint. At home in a naturalist's study or alongside other vintage ornithological collections. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
