Three oyster shells rest against a weathered, cream-colored ground scattered with rust-colored marks and stains. Rendered with loose, confident brushstrokes in warm golds, browns, and grays, the shells reveal their pearlescent interiors with bold dark outlines that give them sculptural presence and a sense of casual, organic ease. About The Artist

My art is not perfect, but neither am I. I want my art to make people smile! I have 2 children's alphabet books on Amazon; "A is for Armadillo B is for Booby C is for Capybara" and "Axolotl to Zonkey". Both are written and illustrated by me. The animals are unusual and unique because I wanted to spark children's curiosity.
