Description

Three oyster shells rest against a weathered, cream-colored ground scattered with rust-colored marks and stains. Rendered with loose, confident brushstrokes in warm golds, browns, and grays, the shells reveal their pearlescent interiors with bold dark outlines that give them sculptural presence and a sense of casual, organic ease. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Care

  • Wash the cover separately in cold water with gentle detergent
  • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry or lay flat to dry
  • Do not wash the faux down insert; spot clean if necessary.

About The Artist

My art is not perfect, but neither am I. I want my art to make people smile! I have 2 children's alphabet books on Amazon; "A is for Armadillo B is for Booby C is for Capybara" and "Axolotl to Zonkey". Both are written and illustrated by me. The animals are unusual and unique because I wanted to spark children's curiosity.
