Description

Layered petals in cream, gold, tan, and olive green form an abstracted peony blossom against a soft beige ground, its organic shapes overlapping to suggest fullness and depth. A dark stem anchors the composition while the muted, earthy palette and organic forms convey a quiet, meditative quality rooted in botanical observation yet rendered through contemporary simplification. Alisa is a self-taught Ukrainian artist living in Spain. She finds inspiration in nature (especially plants), textiles, and interior spaces. Passionate about experimenting, she enjoys exploring mixed media techniques, combining different materials to create unique textures. Her creative process is often highly intuitive, adding a sense of spontaneity and freshness to her work. In recent years, Alisa has developed a strong passion for collages and linocuts.
