Description
Two classical marble busts face each other in stark black and white, their sculpted features sharp and defined against a neutral ground. A stream of teal blue paint drips downward from the right figure's severed head, introducing a single note of color that transforms the mythological narrative into contemporary visual language. For a gallery wall or creative studio space that honors classical mythology. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
