Description

A cluster of red and deep magenta mushrooms with layered, fan-like caps emerges from a silhouetted form against a bright pink ground. The composition reads as a psychedelic portrait, with the fungi arranged to suggest a face or head in profile, rendered in bold, undulating lines that create a rhythmic, almost hypnotic pattern. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
