White water churns and froths across dark rocks in the lower portion of this composition, creating a sense of raw movement against a serene, mist-shrouded background. The palette shifts from cool sage green above to cream and charcoal below, with a weathered, textured quality that suggests both the violence of the rapids and the quietude of their surroundings. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
