Description

A cream-colored composition presents eight African safari animals rendered in naturalistic detail, each species arranged in a balanced vertical layout. The anteater, rhinoceros, zebra, leopard, giraffe, hippopotamus, and monkey are depicted in warm earth tones and grays with fine line work characteristic of vintage natural history illustration. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
