Description

A detailed scientific illustration of five saltwater fish species arranged in a dynamic composition against a black background, rendered in precise watercolor with luminous blues, silvers, golds, and yellows that capture the iridescence of ocean life. The largest specimens occupy the upper portion while smaller fish cluster below, creating a sense of scale and hierarchy within a living marine ecosystem. For a coastal home, a nautical study, or a collector of natural history art. Plush sherpa fleece that gets softer with every wash, printed to order in three sizes. Made to be pulled off the couch and actually used, not folded away like store-shelf decor.

About The Artist

Let me give you a quick background about my life, and my passion for doing art and music. I graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1987 as an illustration major. My art college roommate was someone that has turned out to be quite a big figure in Rock & Roll. Lead singer Rob Zombie. Together Rob and I connected as great friends because of our love of art and music. I ended up becoming a founding member of White Zombie and was one of the very first guitarist in the band. I appear on the Pig Heaven EP and on the Box set Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, as well as a bunch of never before released White Zombie songs. And I have the honor of being the guitarist during the days when White Zombie first hit the New York City rock scene. Rob, Sean, and Ivan are still all very good friends of mine. I currently work in New York City and live in Northern New Jersey with my incredibly supportive wife of over 20 years Jane, my daughter Jenna, and son Harrison. Over the last 25 years of my life I've been working in New York City as a Creative Director. Designing websites, books, logos and artwork for all kinds of electronic and printed material. Drawing has always been my passion and something I constantly do. I love detail. And the more complex, intricate the subject matter the better. Along with dramatic and dynamic subjects and compositions. I constantly paint, draw and sketch. Animals, and their incredible diversity, have always intrigued me, and have been a favorite subject matter throughout my career. I especially enjoy working in pen and ink, and colored pencil. Thanks so much for your interest and support of my art.
