Description
Four pale figures huddle together in a rounded rectangular container against a deep black background, their forms rendered in cream and tan with burnt orange accents at their heads. The composition uses bold outline work and minimal detail to convey crowding and confinement, capturing both the mundane reality of packed sardines and a subtly surreal human quality. At home in a quirky kitchen or a room that values dry wit and observation. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
