Description

Vertical streaks of teal, emerald, and lime green claw downward across a deep charcoal surface, creating an effect of light filtering through dense forest canopy or rain streaking glass. The composition uses repetitive linear marks and a gradient that transitions from dark to bright, evoking both natural phenomena and digital glitch aesthetics. Daniel Coulmann is a graphic designer and artist from Hamburg. While creating his work mostly digitally, he finds his inspiration in the analog world and its techniques. Clean digital shapes combined with photographed and crafted textures as well as vintage and retro elements give his art a hand-made character with a note of imperfection.
