Description
A delicate sewing machine hovers impossibly above the White Cliffs of Dover, its needle and thread stitching together the dramatic chalk coastline and the blue expanse of sea and sky beyond. The composition merges domestic craft with sweeping landscape photography, rendered in soft, naturalistic tones that create a dreamlike tension between the intimate act of mending and the monumental geography being sewn together. At home in a creative studio or a space celebrating the intersection of craft and imagination. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
