Description
A nuclear submarine surfaces beneath a luminous star in a serene alpine lake landscape, its dark silhouette breaking the water's mirror surface as evergreen forests frame either shore and snow-capped peaks rise against the night sky. The composition uses bold geometric shapes and a restrained palette of deep navy, cream, and slate blue to create a reverent, almost devotional mood that pairs the sacred with the unexpected and mechanical. At home in a gallery space or room celebrating ironic holiday traditions. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
