Description

A prickly pear cactus with plump, rounded paddles stands rooted in sandy ground against a terracotta-colored adobe wall and pale sky. The artist renders the plant in rich sage green with careful anatomical detail, while a turquoise wooden door frame punctuates the warm, arid composition with cool contrast.
