Description
Two figures labor in rich, dark soil beneath a surreal landscape where modern skyscrapers rise from the earth like strange monuments half-buried in dirt and stone. The composition splits earth and sky with a hazy, overcast atmosphere rendered in muted tones of brown, blue-grey, and pale cream, creating a dreamlike tension between industrial civilization and the raw, working ground beneath it. For a space that contemplates human labor and our relationship to progress. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
