A traditional Uzbek suzani textile unfolds in rich jewel tones, its composition dominated by six large circular medallions arranged in two columns, each filled with intricate mauve and burgundy florals. Ornate geometric borders frame the piece in deep red and cream, densely patterned with smaller circular motifs and delicate linework that creates a rhythmic, almost hypnotic symmetry across the entire surface. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
